Webinar: Housing Needs Assessments—What they are, how to get one done, and what to ask

CML hosted Heidi Aggeler, Managing Director of Root Policy Research, on a webinar that focused on housing needs assessments. This webinar is for communities who are interested in conducting a housing needs assessment and haven’t, or have not completed an assessment recently. It discussed how to scope a study, best practices in drafting Requests for Proposals, reasonable costs of assessments, trade offs with different types of community engagement, when it makes sense to involve an advisory committee, what staff should expect, and how to ensure your study contains tailored strategies.
