The Ins and Outs of Digital Accessibility
In This Section
January 9, 2024
By now, everyone in the digital world should know that websites should be accessible to all users, but do you actually understand what makes a site truly accessible? Digital accessibility is more than just adding alternative text, relying on your developer to make the right decisions, or catering to just one disability or impairment.
In this webinar, led by Aten Design Group's in-house, IAAP-certified web accessibility expert, you will learn the ins and outs of digital accessibility, including:
- Why we make websites accessible
- What guidelines are recommended
- How we can all take little steps to create more accessible websites for everyone.
By the end of the hour, you will have the knowledge to begin or enhance your accessibility journey.
Additionally, a member of CML's advocacy team will also join us to highlight where we are in Colorado's rulemaking process related to state legislation related to digital accessibility.
Presenters: Michaela Lederman, Aten Design Group and Heather Stauffer, CML
