Many cities and towns have ongoing partnerships in place to better serve residents. Colorado Cities & Towns Week can be an opportunity to celebrate and acknowledge the shared services and partnerships you already have. 

For example, if your municipality partners with other jurisdictions for police, fire, emergency dispatch centers, trash removal, weather siren networks, heavy equipment, information technology services, tourism marketing, water and wastewater treatment, police records, playground maintenance, affordable housing, or any number of other services, you could invite someone from that organization to attend a council/board meeting to thank them for partnership and present them with a certificate of appreciation. 

To further promote the successful cooperation of local governments and nonprofits to citizens, highlight the partnership in your municipal newsletter, social media, website, etc.
