Cities & Towns Make It Possible
The Cities & Towns Make It Possible campaign, initiated by the Colorado Municipal League, is designed to assist municipalities in their efforts to raise awareness about the value
and importance of municipal government. The goal is to introduce and remind the general public that their city or town government provides several resources that enhance the quality
of their lives on a daily basis.
The key messages address the “it” in Cities and Towns Make It Possible. Essentially, these are the services that cities and towns provide that people may not realize are provided
by the municipality. The campaign is about pointing this out to citizens. Working with municipal government every day, municipal officials know what cities and towns make possible
though the services that they provide. This campaign is designed to help officials explain it to citizens.
The campaign is broken down into several different vehicles to reach specific audiences. Each of these elements can be used independently or together, depending on the
municipality’s needs.
